Sight-reading is an essential skill that opens avenues to interpreting written music and exploring various musical genres. With dedication and practice, anyone can cultivate this invaluable ability.

Our application is tailored to aid users in efficiently recognizing notes across all parts of the fretboard, with a particular emphasis on positional play.

By honing your sight-reading prowess, you pave the way for a deeper focus on musical elements such as harmony and rhythm.

 <li>Recognize note names presented on the fretboard.</li>

 <li>Support for key signatures ranging from 1 to 6 sharps or flats.</li>
 <li>Automatic selection of enharmonic notes to avoid double sharps or flats in key signatures.</li>
 <li>Diverse scales covered, including major, minor, melodic minor, harmonic minor, blues, pentatonic, and modal scales.</li> 
 </ul>

<li>FRETS, STRINGS & NOTE SELECTION
 <ul>
 <li>Frets structured into groups for focused note practice and testing.</li>
 <li>Predefined fret groups (e.g., 0-3, 4-6, 7-9) available with the option to create custom groups.</li>
 <li>Current fret group highlighted on the fretboard for clarity.</li>
 <li>Sight-reading progress per fret group tracked along with a longest streak record for accuracy assessment.</li>
 <li>Ability to select specific strings within the highlighted area; test notes can be filtered by naturals or selected scales.</li>

<li>READ AHEAD
 <ul>
 <li>Customizable feature allowing adjustment of the number of notes to read ahead for effective sight-reading preparation.</li>
 </ul>

 <li>Incorporates over 15 alternate guitar tunings including drop D, NST (new standard tuning), and all fourths tuning.</li>
 <li>Offers support for left-handed guitars and allows perspective display of the fretboard (in landscape mode).</li>
 <Li>A universal app compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch devices across all screen sizes.</Li>
